Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 16, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Pixly ("we", "us", "our"), operated by Saboor Tahir, collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and tools.

1. The short version

Pixly is a client-side image converter. We do not upload, store, transmit, or process your images on our servers. All file conversion happens locally in your browser using the HTML5 canvas API. When you close the tab, the files are gone — they were never anywhere else.

2. Information we do not collect

  • The images you convert
  • File names, sizes, or metadata of converted files
  • Your name, email, or contact details (unless you voluntarily send them via the contact form)
  • Account information — we don't have accounts

3. Information we may collect automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider may log basic technical information:

  • Anonymized IP address and approximate region
  • Browser type, operating system, and device type
  • Pages visited and referring URL

This is used solely for security, performance monitoring, and aggregate analytics. We do not sell or share this data.

4. Cookies

Pixly uses a small number of essential cookies and localStorage entries (for example, to remember your dark/light theme preference). We do not use tracking cookies for advertising profiling. If we add advertising in the future (such as Google AdSense), third-party cookies may be set by those providers in accordance with their own privacy policies, and we will update this page accordingly.

5. Third-party services

We may use trusted third-party services for hosting, analytics, and (in the future) advertising. These providers have their own privacy policies, including:

6. Children's privacy

Pixly is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Your rights

Because we do not collect personal data, there is generally nothing for us to delete on request. If you have contacted us by email, you may ask us to delete that correspondence at any time.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision.
